Cooking Philosophies

I’ve been thinking about why I love to cook and the only reason I can come up with is because I love to eat. And more so, I love to feed others.  I believe I may be the only woman in the city who enjoys going to the grocery store, the farmers market & the butcher more than I enjoy buying new shoes…even those really sexy stilettos.

To a certain extent, I have been saved by food in some way or another.  It is my daily bread, my meditation and my therapy- all wrapped up in bacon.  And fortunately, a really great guy married me.  Several months after we tied the knot, I left an overly stressful position with a high-profile publication; not sure what I wanted to do next and at the urging of my husband and kids, I enrolled in college with the intention of obtaining my Masters in Theology.  In addition to my studies, I spend my time putting together new dishes….and have become rather envious of my own life.

I truly love cooking and have created this blog to pass along my recipes, the plagiarizing of others recipes and my thoughts on things that have absolutely nothing to to with cooking.

Thank you for reading…..and please! Let me know what you think.
